There is nothing like a trip to the coast to soothe the soul, and now there is a new lodging option in
Seaside to really pamper yourself during your stay. The stylish SaltLine, which opened in July 2020,
offers many amenities that stretch beyond the stale formula concepts you find at so many big brand
hotels.

“We wanted a place that provided something better, more than just come, sleep, and go,” explains
hotelier/entrepreneur Masudur Khan. He envisioned a lifestyle boutique hotel with energy that could
appeal to customers looking for something more than a worn-out mattress and pillow.

Khan dreamed up the idea that led to this upscale hotel back in 2011. The creative co-owner of Seaside
Lodging LLC wanted something distinctly different from the typical beach crash pad. He wanted to
appeal to discerning visitors looking for a comfortable yet stylish boutique hotel.

It’s said that there is beauty in the details, and this is certainly true at the SaltLine. It starts in the lobby
where guests can warm themselves by the fireplace or chat over breakfast. Local artwork adorns the walls
for those who appreciate the finer things in life. Or, for a breath of fresh air, guests can step out back to a
comfortably furnished patio area and enjoy their favorite libation next to the heartwarming firepits.

Back inside, well-appointed guest rooms offer a number of amenities, from big screen TVs to luxury
bathrobes and balconies. Rooms are also equipped with spacious desks and high-speed Wi-Fi for visitors
who need to get a little work done on their trip. And when it’s time to relax, SaltLine’s plush premium-
mattress beds are so comfortable, you may never want to leave your cozy room.

While guests replenish their energy listening to the sound of the surf and seagulls or soaking in the
saltwater swimming pool, those with electric cars can recharge their batteries on one of four EV charging
stations. “It’s the only spot in Seaside that you can charge your car,” notes Khan. There is also plenty of
other free parking on site for those who don’t need to plug in.

You won’t necessarily need to pull out of the parking lot until it’s time to check out and head home.
The SaltLine is a short walk to the beach, where you can take a morning stroll on the mile-and-half
promenade or slip out of your shoes and spend an afternoon on the sand. If you prefer to pedal, the hotel
offers complementary bicycles.

For those hungry for a satisfying meal, shopping, or a good time on the carousel, Broadway’s
restaurants, shops, and entertainment are just steps away. There is always something going on in Seaside
— from the coast’s largest craft beer festival to its popular annual volleyball tournament and much more.
This beachy community has a lot to offer, and now with the SaltLine, visitors have the option of painting
the town in style.

Speaking of which, Khan plans to unveil other surprises to rejuvenate guests in coming months,
including special packages and events. “Visit our website frequently or sign up for our email list to find
out about these unique opportunities,” he says. Or if you just can’t wait to see the SaltLine for yourself,
